Please join for a morning event with a TED talk, break out sessions, survivorship panel, and discussion groups on creating resilience for surviving cancer and the pandemic. Liz will lead a break out session entitled Yoga Exercises for Stress, Sleep, and Self-Soothing

Yoga is a powerful practice for alleviating anxiety, stress, and insomnia they arise in the midst of life’s uncertainties. This session discusses the date to support yoga practice and presents gentle movements, simple breath techniques, and a deep relaxation that will help you meet your emotions each day and night with a calm mind. Appropriate for everyone, no experience required. Led by Liz Owen, C-IAYT, lead yoga teacher and co-author of three NIH-funded studies at Boston University School of Medicine on yoga as a tool for easing depression and anxiety. Liz is coauthor of The Yoga Effect: A Proven Practice for Depression and Anxiety, (Da Capo Lifelong).
PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS
